g2-lpi asked: A few questions re: your wristwatch post. 1) Is a pocket watch an acceptable personal timepiece? 2) On which hand do you wear your own watch, and with which hand do you write?
Yes, the pocket watch is of course an acceptable form of a timepiece to carry, more so it is encourage. The only fault lies in that pocket watches are by design made to be worn with a waistcoat which is not a practical garment for year round wear. Though if ever a situation arises where a pocket watch could be worn it is always acceptable to use. Secondly it is not advisable to wear a wristwatch on the hand that is your dominant hand as this could/will present a problem in many situations. However it is not a faux pas as.
